Feature overview

What ships today, what is coming next, and what is still being built

Coursework & studies

Timetable

Import from the undergraduate and graduate systems, WakeUp files and share codes, third-party timetables, or edit by hand. Group multiple schedules, switch between week and month views, and get class reminders that stay in sync with your widgets.

Agenda & to-dos

Items come in three kinds — events, tasks and notes — with recurrence rules, priorities, list grouping, swipe actions, class reminders and widget sync.

Free classrooms

Search by date, campus, building and period. Rooms that clash with your own timetable are excluded automatically, and any result can be turned into an agenda item in one tap.

Library study seats

Query library spaces, dates, time slots and individual seats through the native API. Create or cancel bookings, keep a list of your own, and get agenda reminders.

Sports venue booking

Browse venues and available slots, then book, pay, cancel and review your orders. Bookings can be written straight into your agenda.

University-wide timetable

Browse the whole university timetable by academic year and term, search for courses, and narrow the results against your own schedule to find the ones you can actually attend or add.

Academic progress

Shows your major, your degree plan, the credits you have earned and the courses still outstanding, so you can track how much of the programme is left.

Grades

Import from the undergraduate system, trusted electronic credentials and the professional development system. Switch GPA algorithms, follow grade trends, export a transcript PDF, filter by term, and lock the screen behind biometrics.

University calendar

Every year of WHU's calendar in one place: term start and end dates, holidays and the teaching schedule at a glance.

Grade distributions & reviews

See how a course's grades are distributed and read its reviews, or submit your own anonymously. Small samples are aggregated to protect privacy, continuing the data lineage of WHU.sb and WHUCourses.cn.

Chaoxing account

Bind Xuexitong (Chaoxing) by password or SMS code. Credentials are kept in this device's secure storage and isolated per WHU account, laying the groundwork for course and check-in features later on.

Campus services

Luojia E-card & payment code

Entry point for the Luojia E-card, with balance and transaction history. The native payment code refreshes every minute, with the web version as a fallback, and is available from Apple Watch and from home-screen shortcuts.

Shuttle bus

Look up routes and live vehicle positions, overlay them on the campus map, and get arrival alerts in the background. Syncs with iOS Live Activities and watch snapshots.

Campus map

A native map implementation, not an embedded web page. Combined place search, layers for car parks, entrances, AEDs and campus facilities, and a choice of vector or satellite imagery.

Hospital services

Manage your patient card; view and cancel appointments, follow the outpatient queue, check opening hours, see paid and unpaid invoices, and read lab and examination reports.

Utility bills & water codes

Check your dormitory's water and electricity usage, pay online, and get a low-balance alert. Hot-water codes are ready the moment you need one.

Campus notifications

Aggregates the WHU message centre with all / notifications / to-dos views, full message detail and unread badges.

Smart Luojia

The Smart Luojia portal, embedded and reusing your campus session, so the everyday university services stop asking you to log in again.

Campus network

Check your plan, pause and resume it (unused days roll over), authenticate through the portal automatically, switch carrier, manage connected devices and top up. On iOS it can join at system level.

Campus VPN

Connect to WHU's aTrust VPN with an in-app proxy or a system-level TUN, split-tunnelling rules, two-factor challenges and a built-in web connectivity test.

Forum: Luojia Shelter

A community forum with posts, comments, boards, attachments, search, reputation, leaderboards and a public moderation log. The tab is hidden by default and can be turned on under Settings → Navigation.

Smart tools

AI assistant

Built-in and custom models, multimodal attachments, voice input and read-aloud, image generation, web search, MCP, skills and assistants. A confirmation bridge offers manual, semi-automatic and fully automatic modes; the tools can read and manage your timetable, grades, mailbox and campus service data, and can start utility or network payments once you confirm.

Weather

Mi Weather, Open-Meteo and AccuWeather are each queried directly for what they do best: hourly forecasts, air quality, pollen counts and official weekly reports, precipitation, alerts, caching and retries. Every source substitution or fallback is traceable, and a strict mode is available.

Coremail mailbox

A native Coremail client with SSO sign-in, client-specific passwords, an inbox, composing and sending, safely rendered message detail and unread badges. The mailbox is also open to the AI agent for searching, organising and drafting.

Wallpaper centre

Choose no wallpaper, a local image, an online image URL, or Bing's daily pick at random. The timetable, campus, settings, task list, forum and AI pages can each be configured separately, with an adjustable dark overlay.

Signed hot updates

This site distributes Ed25519-signed QuickJS parser scripts. When a campus API changes the parser can be hot-updated, instead of everyone waiting for an app release.

In-app updates

Checks GitHub Releases for updates. On Android it suggests the right ABI upgrade and guides the install; on desktop it prompts you to download the new version.

Apple Shortcuts

macOS Shortcuts can call audited app tools such as the university calendar, timetable, grades and free classrooms. Anything that writes needs confirmation.

Cross-device & accounts

Home-screen widgets

Agenda list, today's classes, starting soon, and this week's classes — four widgets covering Android, iOS and the macOS menu bar.

Watch companion

Apple Watch can present the E-card payment code; Huawei and HarmonyOS watches sync agenda items, shuttle bus and weather snapshots.

App shortcuts

Android App Shortcuts and iOS Quick Actions go directly to the E-card payment code, study-seat booking, the AI assistant and more, and appear according to your sign-in state.

Accounts & security

WHU CAS and Luotopia accounts are kept separate. Passkeys, multiple sessions, device trust, API credentials and a biometric lock on grades are all supported, and diagnostic telemetry can be turned off.

Multiple languages

Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Cantonese, English, Japanese, Korean, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian and Vietnamese — twelve languages in all.

Multi-account switching

A device can remember several WHU accounts and switch between them quickly. VPN, mailbox and Xuexitong credentials are isolated per account and never cross over.

Coming soon

Third-party account linking

Manage external accounts in one place under Other accounts. Authorised linking for third parties such as Ham is still being finished.

In development

In development

Library loans

Planned: a catalogue loan API showing your current loans, due dates and renewal status, with reminders before something falls due.

In development

Shared study materials

Planned: server-side search, upload, download, favourites and review status, with materials organised by course, teacher and term.

In development

Grades, enhanced

Building on the existing grade trends: term-over-term comparison, summary export and linking through to course identifiers.

In development

Recurrence, enhanced

Expanding a recurring item into its instances, completing and restoring them, and operating on the series as a whole.

In development

Widgets, enhanced

Continuing to improve the Android widgets and looking at entry points on more desktop platforms.

In development

Standalone web edition

The Flutter Web compatibility layer and its release artefacts are no longer maintained. A standalone web product will start once the requirements and the server-side proxy capabilities are settled.
